Ingredients: 2 egg whites 4 oz. caster sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 4 oz. walnuts 4 oz. plain or milk chocolate, cut into 1/4" inch cubes
Directions:1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Arrange 20 paper liners on a baking tray. 2. Whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks when the whisk is withdrawn. Add the sugar a tablespoon at a time, whisking until the mixture stands in stiff peaks after each addition. Whisk in the vanilla and salt. Fold in the coarsely chopped nuts and the chocolate. Fill the paper liners two-thirds full with the mixture and bake until crisp to the touch. Allow to go cold then store in an airtight container. |
