Ingredients: 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. vanilla pecan halves 2 cup light brown sugar, packed dash of salt 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips Directions:Put milk, brown sugar and salt in saucepan and bring to 235 degrees or until it makes a soft ball in cold water. Stir contantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. While still hot, drop by teasponnfuls over pecan halves, which have been placed 3 in a pile and each pile 2 inches apart. Cool While cooking, melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Put 1/2 teaspoon of melted chips on each pile. Makes 3&1/2 dozen critters |
