Ingredients: 2 pounds whole green beans boiling water 2 1/2 teaspoons salt 2 Tablespoons oil 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder or less to taste 1/3 cup tomato sauce 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 2 teaspoons paprika pimiento strips Directions:Cook Beans in water to cover with 2 teaspoons salt until not quite tender. Drain. Saute in oil with garlic powder for 3 minutes. Add remaining salt and all other ingredients except pimiento. Reheat. Garnish with pimiento strips. serves 8-10 |
