Ingredients: 2 /3 cup each of dried figs, apricots, dates, and prunes or dried peaches 1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses 1 tablespoon crushed pistachio nuts Directions:Wash the fruit and put it into a bowl. Dissolve the molasses in some boiling water and pour it over the fruit, adding more water so that the fruit is covered. Leave for at least 12 hours; it will keep for several days, covered, in the fridge. Serve with the pistachios on top. |
