Ingredients: 2 cups finely crushed pretzels 1/3 cup sugar 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted 2 cups boiling water 1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Brand Cranberry Flavor Gelatin 1 cup cold water 1-1/2 tsp. grated lime peel 1 pt. (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, softened 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed Total time: 3 hr 35 min Directions:1. Heat oven to 350?F. 2. Mix crushed pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and melted butter in 13x9-inch baking pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool. 3. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water and lime peel. Spoon in ice cream, stirring until melted and smooth. Spoon over crust. 4. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Spread whipped topping evenly over top of dessert. Cut into squares. Garnish as desired. Store leftover squares in refrigerator. |
