Ingredients: 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 sheets matzo, broken into large pieces Peanut oil Total time: 25 min Directions:1. Mix eggs, onion powder, salt and pepper. 2. Place matzo in shallow baking dish. Pour egg mixture over matzo; let stand until egg mixture is evenly soaked into matzo. 3. Heat 1/2 inch of oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add single layer of matzo mixture; cook 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides, carefully turning over halfway through cooking time. Repeat with remaining matzo mixture. |
