Ingredients: 1 pkg. (8 oz.) semi-sweet baking chocolate, divided 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup peanut oil 1/2 cup matzo meal 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans(optional) 1 tsp. margarine 1/2 tsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee 1 Tbsp. hot water 3 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE`S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream 1/2 tsp. imitation vanilla Total time: 55 min Directions:1. Reserve 5 squares of the chocolate; cut remaining 3 squares chocolate into chunks. 2. Mix sugar and cocoa in large bowl until blended. Stir in eggs and oil. Mix in matzo meal, chocolate chunks and nuts. Spread into greased 8-inch square baking pan. 3. Bake at 350?F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool in pan on wire rack. 4. Meanwhile, microwave 5 reserved chocolate squares and margarine in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until margarine is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted; set aside. 5. Dissolve coffee in water. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Add to chocolate mixture; mix well. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into squares. |
