Ingredients: 1 pkg. active dry yeast 3/4 cup warm (108?F) water 2 cups flour 1/4 cup oil 1 tsp. salt KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese 1 lb. Italian sausage 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 can (14-1/4 oz.) diced tomatoes in juice 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste 2 tsp. dried oregano leaves 2 pkg. (6 oz. each) KRAFT Mozzarella Cheese Slices Total time: 1 hr Directions:1. Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes. Mix in flour, oil and salt. Place dough on lightly floured surface; knead until smooth. 2. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese onto bottom of greased 12-inch deep-dish pizza pan. Press dough onto bottom and 1 inch up sides of pan. 3. Remove sausage from casing. Brown sausage in large skillet; drain. Add onion; cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste and oregano; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Cover dough with 1/2 each of the mozzarella cheese and meat sauce; repeat layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 5. Bake at 425?F for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting to serve. |
