Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz butter salt 1 oz yeast chives, chopped 1 ea onion, chopped fine 1 t mustard 1/2 c milk breadcrumbs 4 ea eggs Directions:Combine yeast and butter in saucepan over low heat and when it starts to brown, add onion and fry carefully for 3 minutes. Yeast must not get burnt. Add milk and mix into a smooth cream. Add eggs, salt, chopped chives and mustard. If the spread is too thin, add a little sieved breadcrumbs. Spread on bread or toast. |
