Ingredients: 12 oz beans, dried 1/3 c flour salt 2 T tomato puree 4 oz shortening 4 oz onion, chopped 12 oz beef, sliced 1/2 t paprika 1 pn pepper, black Directions:1. Soak beans overnight in unsalted water. After soaking, add a little water and cook until beans are soft. Remove from heat and add salt. 2. Fry onion in shortening, add slice meat, season with pepper and fry. Add water from beans and simmer until tender. 3. Dust the meat with flour, allow it to brown and dilute with water to form a thick sauce. 4. Add beans, tomato puree and paprika. Serve goulash with bread. |
