1 1/4 lb potatoes, peeled, cubed
2/3 c bacon, cubed, fried
5 c water
2 ea bread rolls, sliced
1 ea egg yolk
1/4 c lard, for frying
1 c cream
1. Add salt to water, bring to a boil and add potatoes. Boil until tender.
2. Strain potatoes, put through seive, return to stock.
3. Add egg yolk mixed with cream and mix well.
4. Add bacon and parsley. Serve with fried slices of bread rolls.
