Ingredients: 1/2 ea cabbage, quartered 6 c water 3/4 c butter mushrooms, cooked, chopped 1/2 c onion, sliced salt 1/3 c flour 1/4 lb meat, smoked, cubed Directions:1. Boil cabbage in water for 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Melt butter in saucepan - fry onions until translucent. Stir in flour - cook until browned. 2. Dilute with 6 cups of water - mix well and bring to a simmer. Add mushrooms, cabbage, salt and smoked meat. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Season to taste. |
