Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 1/2 cup of water 6 firm bananas lemon juice 2 tablespoons of rum grated lemon rind 1 ounce of almonds, shelled, blanched, and slivered cinnamon
Directions:1. Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and heat until the sugar is dissolved. Peel the bananas and coat with the lemon juice. Place them in a shallow dish with the sugar liquid and the rum. Dust with cinnamon and grated lemon rind. 2. Cover and cook in a 180?C oven for about 20 minutes. Serve quickly with whipped cream decorated with slivered almonds. |
