Directions:1. Combine crushed garlic, shaoxing, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and five-spice powder to make a marinade. 2. Add chicken and marinate for 3 hours in the refrigerator. 3. Combine egg yolk and cornstarch. Coat chicken with cornstarch, then roll in sweet potato powder. 4. Heat oil over a high flame until 375?F. Add chicken pieces and deep-fry until all sides are golden-brown (total cooking time should be about 4 minutes). 5. Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. 6.
