Ingredients: 1 lb (4cups) thinly sliced potatoes 10 pieces of herring (available preserved in jars) 1 onion, chopped ? tsp white pepper 1 egg 2 c. milk 1 Tbsp flour Directions:1. Layer on to a well-greased casserole dish: potatoes, herring, chopped onion. Finish off with a layer of potatoes. 2. Mix egg, milk, pepper and flour. Pour on top of potatoes. Bake in moderate oven (380 F) for about two hours, until well done. |
