Ingredients: 1 teacup basmati rice 1/2 cup palak puree 1 onion 2 bay leaves 4 cinnamon sticks 1/2 tsp caraway seeds 1 tbsp ghee 100 gms paneer or cashewnuts 2 cups water Grind : 1 inch ginger 6 to 7 flakes garlic 5 sprigs coriander 6 sprigs mint 2 green chillies Directions:Soak rice for 1/4 hour, drain. Fry paneer or cashewnuts on gas for garnishing. Heat ghee on HIGH for 30 seconds. Add onion, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, caraway seeds anal the masala paste. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Add palak puree, soaked rice, 2 cups water, salt. Stir well, cover and Microwave on HIGH for 18 minutes. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with paneer or cashewnuts. |
