2 apples, peeled cored and chopped
2 medium-sized ripe pears, peeled cored and chopped
1 small cinnamon stick
2 tbsp water
Put the fruit into a heavy based saucepan with the water and cinnamon stick. Cover and cook over a low heat until tender (6 to 8 minutes). Remove the cinnamon stick and blend the fruit to a smooth puree.
