3 cups water
1 cup masa harina, (mexican corn masa mix)
3 3/4 cups whole or low-fat milk
1 (12-oz.) can NESTLЙR CARNATIONR Evaporated Milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cinnamon sticks
1.Place water and masa harina in a blender; cover. Blend until smooth. Pour through a fine mesh sieve into a medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring frequently with a wire whisk, for 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
2.Stir in whole milk, evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring frequently, for 5 to 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened. Remove cinnamon sticks. Serve warm sprinkled with ground cinnamon.
