Ingredients: 5 medium potatoes, washed 450 g plain flour 2 teaspoons baking powder Salt and pepper 600 ml milk or water Vegetable colouring 350 g potatoes, finely grated 125 g chicken seasoning Oil for frying Time: 45 min Directions:1. Cut each potato lengthways into wedges. 2. Par cook by boiling for 5 minutes. 3. Sift the flour, baking powder and chicken seasoning into a large bowl. 4. Slowly whisk in the liquid, beat well. 5. Add colouring and grated potato, mix well. 6. Toss the wedges into the chicken seasoning. 7. Dip each wedge into the potato batter and deep fry for 2-3 minutes until crispy. |
