Ingredients: 2 golden apples, cored and cut into matchstick-size slices 3 red Bartlett pears, cored and cut into matchstick-size slices 1 cup walnuts, toasted, coarsely chopped and divided 3 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons apple cider Salt and pepper to taste Directions:To toast walnuts, spread walnuts on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes, shaking pan occasionally.
