Ingredients: 2 pounds good quality beef, cut into 1/2 inch cubes 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced (or 8 oz. can sliced mushrooms with liquid) 1 envelope dried onion soup mix 1 can golden mushroom soup 1 10 oz. bag frozen petite whole onions 1/2 cup dry red wine Directions:Place all ingredients in a 2 1/2 quart casserole. Stir well, cover tightly and bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Do not disturb until serving time. Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles. Four generous servings. |
