Ingredients: 2 cups yellow peas 2 lb pork 1 large onion 2 potatoes 2 carrots Salt Thyme Directions:Soak peas overnight in water, in a large soup pot. Use same water and add pork and vegetables, bring to a boil and simmer for 2- 3 hours, remove vegetables and the pork when peas are tender, press them through a strainer and put back into soup. Cut vegetables into cubes and add to soup. Add thyme and salt to taste. Slice pork and serve with mustard. |
