1 cup pumpkin seeds, shelled
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 slice of white bread
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 tsp green chiles, chopped
14 oz canned chicken broth
1/2 cup whipping cream
1. Slice of white bread should be torn into small pieces.
2. Cook pumpkin seeds, onion, bread, and garlic in oil, stirring frequently, until bread is golden brown. Stir in chiles.
3. Place mixture in food processor workbowl fitted with steel blade; cover and process until smooth.
4. Stir in broth, whipping cream and salt.
