Ingredients: 2-1/4 cups flour 1 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 cups brown sugar, packed 1 cup milk 3 eggs 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 6-ounce pkg. chocolate chips Directions:1. Use a large bowl and mix in flour, peanut butter, margarine and brown sugar until crumbly, using mixer on a low speed. Measure 1 cup of crumbs for topping. As for the remaining crumbs, add milk, eggs, baking powder, baking soda and vanilla. Blend until moistened. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed, scraping the bowl often. 2. Generously grease and flour 9x13 in a cake pan. Pour batter into pan sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. You may also bake as stated above, although leaving in all the crumb mixture and frost with a chocolate butter cream frosting. |
