Ingredients: 12 finely chopped anchovies 2 tablespoons olive oil the oil from the anchovies 2 tablespoons minced garlic 3 cups crushed Italian tomatoes 1 teaspoon oregano 2 tablespoons chopped parsley salt and pepper to taste Directions:Saute the garlic in the olive and anchovy oil. Add the tomatoes, the anchovies, the oregano, and the parsley. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 25 minutes whiles stirring occasionally. |
