Ingredients: 2 lb. fresh green beans 3 T. butter 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 cup slivered almonds 2 T. fresh parsley, chopped Directions:Break ends off and place beans in a pot of boiling water. Cook 10-12 minutes and drain. Melt butter in a skillet. Stir in salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add beans and almonds. Stir to coat and warm. Garnish with fresh parsley. |
