1 teaspoon of brown sugar
1/2 cup of chili sauce
1 teaspoon of hickory liquid smoke
4 salmon steaks
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1/4 cup of white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons of worcestshire sauce
Whisk together chili sauce, oil, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and liquid smoke. Pour into shallow glass dish large enough to hold steaks. Lay salmon in dish, turning to coat. Cover dish with plastic wrap and marinate for 15-20 minutes, flip steaks and marinate another 15-20 minutes. Keep the marinade mix. Lay the salmon on a greased grill over medium-high heat. Close grill lid and cook for 5-7 minutes, basting frequently with marinade. Carefully flip steaks and cook and baste for 5-7 more minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
