1/4 cup salad or olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon caraway seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 pound sauerkraut, drained
2 medium tart apples, peeled, cored, and diced
3/4 cup grated carrot

1. Combine oil, sugar, caraway seed, salt, and vinegar.
2. Rinse and drain sauerkraut well; chop. Stir into oil mixture.
3. Add apples and carrot; toss to mix.
