3 egg whites
1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
a few drops of vegetable food coloring
1. Whip the egg whites until thickened, stirring constantly and gradually add the sugar, salt, lemon juice, cream of tartar and the food coloring.
2. In a greased and floured cake pan, lay out small teaspoons of the mixture. Bake on low heat for approximately an hour. Serve.
