1 cup of chopped nuts (or peanuts)
2 cups of brown sugar
1/2 cup of evaporated milk
1 tablespoon of margarine
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1. Mix together the sugar, 1/2 cup of water, salt and milk. Put on high heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Lower the flame and and let boil slowly until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
2. Add the margarine, vanilla and mix. Let cool a little without stirring.
3. Add the nuts. Mix well. Spread the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Let set and cut.
