6 ripe pears
4 small bars of semi-bitter chocolate
3 teaspoons of milk
1/2 cup of sugar
4 tablespoons of rum
1 pinch of salt
1. Wash, peel and core the pears. Do not take of the stems.
2. Melt the chocolate on low fire in milk, stirring constantly. Add rum and a pinch of salt. Stir.
3. Holding the pears by the stems, dip them in the chocolate sauce. Dry on aluminum foil or waxed paper. Chill and serve.
