Cooked cucumbers (schmorgurken)
Ingredients:
2 pound cucumbers, need to be halved, seeded and sliced,
100 gm bacon,
1 onion,
dill sprigs (fresh), quite a lot
1 teaspoon butter
Salt
Pepper
1/8 liter cream
sugar
1-2 Tbs lemon juice

Directions:
Chop bacon and onions, dill, heat butter sautee bacon, onion 5 min add salt and pepper, add cucumbers (halved, seeded, and sliced). Cover pot (put a little water in), cook on low heat for 20 min. Then add flour, stir add cream, heat almost to boiling, add sugar, lemon juice and dill.
