Ingredients: 1 cup sweet unsalted butter 3/4 cup eggs, beaten 2 cup ground blanched almonds 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup sugar Directions:1. Cream butter and eggs until fluffy. 2. Mix almonds, flour, and sugar. Add flour mixture, a small amount at a time, to the butter mixture. Beat or knead after each addition. 3. Pat or roll out dough in a greased 15x10x1-inch jelly-roll pan. 4. Bake at 350F about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. 5. Spread jam over top. Cool for 5 minutes. Cut into 2-inch squares to serve. |
