Ingredients: 0.75 cupful mannacroup 3.5 cupful milk 3 carrots 1 tblsp sugar 2 tblsps butter salt Directions:Shred the cleaned carrots with a fine shredder. Place the carrots into a saucepan, add part of the butter, sugar and salt and stew over a slow fire. Add the hot milk, the remaining part of butter, bring to a boil, add the manna-croup, boil until the porridge thickens and place in oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot seasoned with butter. |
