It was Chanukah in the late 70`s, my brother and his family along with my husband and son were at my Mother`s for dinner. This little party encompassed 10 people. I asked my niece to pass me some potato latkes. She passed them alright. Took two latkes and sent them flying across the table. We never asked her to pass anything again. She is now married and an attorney. We still tease her about it.
