Ingredients: 1/2 cup butter -- softened 1/2 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 each large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2 cups corn flakes 2 1/4 cups sweetened coconut flakes 1/2 cup walnuts -- chopped
Directions:Lightly grease baking sheet. Cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Stir into creamed mixture. Stir in corn flakes, coconut and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto baking sheet two inches apart. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly, then remove to cooling rack. |
