Ingredients: 1 c. water 1 tsp anise seed 1 c flour 4 eggs oil for frying honey
Directions:Boil water and anise seed. Remove from fire and strain (add more water to make a cup). Return to fire, bring to a boil and add the flour all at once, stirring until a ball is formed. Remove from the fire and add the eggs one by one mixing well. Fry spoonfuls of dough in hot oil until they are golden and have increased in size. Serve hot with honey |
