Ingredients: 6 large apples (I use Granny Smith) 1 9" deep dish pie shell 1 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 3/4 cup flour 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup ground pecans
Directions:Pare apples; cut into slices and arrange in pie shell. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Sift 1/2 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Add pecans and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-50 minutes. |
