Ingredients: 3/4 cup Buttermilk 2 cup Whole wheat flour 1 cup Bread flour 1 tsp Salt 1 1/2 tbsp Butter or margarine 3 tbsp Sugar 1/4 tsp Baking soda 8 oz Can of crushed pineapple Well-drained 1/3 cup Flaked coconut 1 1/2 tsp Active dry yeast
Directions:1 Place all ingredients in bread pan, select light crust setting and press start. 2 1-? lb. loaf. 3 After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on rack and allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing. 4 Note: for welbilt/dak machines, use 2 ts yeast for panasonic/nat"l. 5 Machines, use 3 ts yeast deb"s notes: substituted 3 tb of buttermilk *powder*, ? c plus 1 tb of water, and deleted baking soda in lieu of fresh buttermilk. 6 Worked fine. |
