1-1/2 cups boiling water
3/4 cup NABISCO CREAM OF WHEAT Cereal
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, crushed
6 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, well drained
2-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup chopped red or green bell pepper
Total time 1 hr 10 min
1. Stir boiling water into cereal in large bowl until thickened; let stand 5 minutes. Stir in margarine, salt, garlic and egg yolks. Gradually stir in milk and baking powder until blended. Stir in mixed vegetables, cheese and pepper; set aside.
2. Beat egg whites in medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form; gently fold into cereal mixture. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
3. Bake at 375?F for 15 minutes; stir. Bake an additional 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
