Original Steak Sauce 3 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. minced anchovy fillets 1 tsp. minced garlic 1/2 cup olive oil 1 (1 lb.) boneless beef round steak, about 1-inch thick 4 cups torn romaine lettuce leaves 4 slices French bread (1-inch thick) 1/2 cup shaved KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese Total time: 1 hr 35 min Directions:1. Blend steak sauce, lemon juice, anchovy fillets and garlic in small bowl; slowly whisk in olive oil. Place steak in nonmetal dish or plastic bag; stir in 1/3 cup steak sauce mixture; cover. Refrigerate 1 hour to marinate, turning occasionally. Reserve remaining steak sauce mixture for dressing. 2. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Grill steak over medium-high heat for 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Lightly brush cut sides of bread with some reserved dressing. Grill bread 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden. 3. Heat remaining reserved dressing until warm. Arrange lettuce on serving platter. Thinly slice steak; arrange on lettuce. Drizzle with warm dressing; top with cheese. Serve immediately with grilled bread. |
