Ingredients: 1 cup chopped onion 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter 2 Tbsp. flour 1-1/2 cups beef broth 1/2 cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce 3 cups diced cooked beef steak (about 1-1/2 lb.) 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, thawed Pastry for 2-crust 9-inch pie Total time: 1 hr 5 min Directions:1. Cook onion in butter in 2-quart saucepan on medium-high heat until tender. Blend in flour; cook and stir 1 minute. Add beef broth and steak sauce; cook and stir until mixture thickens and begins to boil. Stir in steak and peas and carrots. 2. Spoon mixture into 4 (16-oz.) ovenproof individual casseroles. Roll out and cut pastry crust to fit over casseroles. Seal crust to edge of casseroles. Slit tops to vent. 3. Bake at 400?F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. |
