Ingredients: 2 pounds potatoes 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted Directions:1. Peeled and halve the potatoes. Cut fine slits in the top of each one, without going through the base, so the potato stays intact. 2. Parboil the potatoes for 5 minutes. Drain. Stand them on a greased baking sheet, and brush all over with melted butter or margarine. 3. Preheat the oven to 400? F. Bake the potatoes until golden and crisp outside, and tender inside: 40-60 minutes. Serve at once. |
