Ingredients: 3 bn herbs salt 6 c water 1 pn nutmeg 1/3 c flour 1 ea bread roll 1/3 c butter 1 oz butter Directions:1. Herbs consist of violet leaves, young nettles, strawberry leaves, parsley, chives, lettuce leaf, etc. 2. Clean herbs, remove roots, rinse well and place in pan, cover with a little water and bring to a boil. 3. Prepare a light roux from butter and flour, diluting gradually with cold water. Add chopped herbs, egg yolk mixed with a little water. Mix well and simmer for one hour. 4. If desired, add some seasoning 15 minutes before serving. Serve with croutons prepared from bread roll. |
