Ingredients: 1 soda or beer can, opened, with 1/3 of the beverage left in the can 3-pound chicken, whole 8 cloves of caramelized garlic 1 tbsp dried rosemary 1 t dried thyme fresh ground black pepper to taste
Directions:1. Rub the outside of the chicken with garlic, rosemary, thyme and black pepper. Preheat the grill. Place the opening of the chicken over the top of a soda or beer can, then position the "canned" chicken on a low grill, on an indirect heat. Close the cover of the grill. Cook for 1 1/2 hours, turning the chicken every 20 minutes. 2. Remove the chicken when the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F with an instant-read thermometer. Allow to cool 10 minutes before removing from can. |
