Baked macaroni and mushroom

1 onion
6 cloves
1 bay leaf
a pinch of nutmeg powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 cups milk
100 gms mushroom slices optional
4 1/2 tsps while wine optional
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsps flour
2 tsps white pepper powder
100 gms carrots, french beans, capsicum
3/4 cup peas
100 gms noodles or macaroni
1 cup grated cooking Cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs

Dot onion with cloves. Take a bowl, add milk, onion, nutmeg, mustard seeds, bay leaf. Cook on HIGH for 5 minutes until the milk comes to a boil. Cool, strain. Boil noodles and vegetables in Microwave for 7 minutes, and 5 minutes respectively. Melt butter on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir in the flour. Microwave on HIGH for 45 seconds. Then add milk and cook uncovered on HIGH for 4 minutes till the mixture thickens. Add salt and pepper. Stir in mushrooms, boiled vegetables, boiled noodles. Top with grated cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for 5 minutes. Serve hot with toast.
