Ingredients: 1 pound large mushrooms Marinade: 3/4 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup cider venegar 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 1 teaspoon celery seeds 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Directions:1. Remove stemps from mushrooms; reserve for another use. Marinade: 2. In large bowl, mix together oil, vinegar, garlic, sugar, celery seeds, mustard, salt and pepper. Add mushroom caps and toss gently. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. 3. Drain caps, reserving marinade. Thread onto greased metal or soaked wooden skewers, hollow side up. Cook on greased grill over medium-hot coals or on medium setting for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Do not turn. |
