Ingredients: 3 lb. pork back ribs 3/4 cup maple syrup 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 2 tablespoons ketchup 1 tablespoon cider vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard Directions:1. In large pot, cover ribs with water; simmer, covered, for about 1 hour or until tender. (Alternatively, microwave, in covered shallow dish, at medium/50% for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through.) 2. In small saucepan, combine maple syrup, sugar, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and mustard; bring to boil. Pour over ribs; marinate in refrigerator for about 2 hours. 3. Remove ribs. reserving marinade. Cook over medium-hot coals or on medium setting, turning occasionally and brushing with sauce, for about 20 minutes or until tender and glazed. Cut into serving-sized pieces. |
