Ingredients: 3 lb chicken quarters or cubed pork (rubbed with salt and pepper to taste) Marinade: 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup vinegar 4 cloves garlic 1 diced onion Sugar to taste 2-3 slivers of ginger, minced
Directions:Marinate meat for 1/2 hour, then place the meat and marinade in a large pot and add 1 cup water. Cook over hgh heat until liquid comes to a boil. Skim foam. Add 2 bay leaves, additional salt/pepper and a little sugar. Simmer until meat is tender. |
