Ingredients: cooked shrimps salt pepper tabasco batter: 250 g flour 2 eggs or 4 egg yolks 50 g butter 100 ml milk 150 g beer 10 g fresh yeast 5 g salt 4 egg whites Time: 30 min Directions:1. Batter: Shape the flour into a fountain in a metal bowl. Add the salt, eggs, and the yeast dissolved in lukewarm milk. Whisk, adding gradually the flour, until a homogeneous batter is formed. Add the bier and mix a little. Add the melted butter and let the batter sit for 30 min to 1 hour in a temperate place. Beat the egg whites until stiff and combine gently with the batter. 2. Shell the shrimps, but take care of leaving the shell at the end of the tail. 3. Season with salt, pepper and tabasco. Dip each shrimp in batter and then in boiling oil. Fry uniformly, flip them over if needed. Drain and transfer to paper towels. Serve warm. |
